Examining Our Choices - July 4, 2005

 As we become more and more aware of the multidimensionality of life, we are challenged to step out of the third dimensional paradigms of thought and behavior and evaluate our choices from multiple perspectives.  Examining the patterns of our past may  reveal limitations formerly imposed upon ourselves, providing the opportunity to transform those limitations into gifts by fueling us to choose differently now. 

Confused?  Most people are!  And the old paradigm would have us look to our past with thoughts riddled with “ I wish I had done that differently” or “ It’s clear to me now that I had other choices, but at the time I was so blinded by love/fear/rage/emotions that I couldn’t think straight.”  Evident within those thought patterns, however, is the gift of “hindsight.”  Oftentimes the reality of  “having no other choice” is an illusion created by the smokescreen of the emotional field. 

The bottom line is that we always have another choice, and if we truly believe there is no other alternative, it is only because we are choosing that as our reality.  Sometimes our Higher Selves have assisted with creating the illusion of no other choice because of unresolved karma, or because we have not become aware of the choice that would serve the highest and greatest good…yet.  Sometimes we are simply missing the point of the inherent lesson.  But in this new program, the dimensions of consciousness are evolving and breathing, and awareness of the multiplicity of choices available to us regarding every moment is restricted only by self-imposed limitations.  If we choose to have blinders on we get to wear them, but we may also choose to lay them down, and my friends, then we will fully realize that the future is a system of possibilities and we get to choose! 

As our awareness is able to consciously maintain this expanded reality, the power and responsibility of every choice will provide profound clarity and core understanding that we are indeed creators!

 As Lightworkers we have often heard and have embraced that in absolute reality time as we know it doesn’t exist, but rather is an agreement, a convention of experience in this physical plane.  We have merely to step out of the box of conformity to this limiting linear thought pattern to utilize the concept of “hindsight” within an expanded consciousness.  How many times will we hear/say “Oh, the gift of hindsight is wonderful” before integrating it to improve our lives?  If we would merely shift our understanding of hindsight forward, we would understand that we may go into the future and look back to now with hindsight, just as from now we may go into our past, with hindsight providing an expanded understanding and awareness of our experience. 

As we begin to exercise our expanded consciousness through employing techniques like hindsight in a broader context, not only will we become adept at “time travel,”  but we will begin to truly understand that indeed, there are always many choices before us, and this is quite liberating!  “Time travel” will become known as walking through dimensions, where we are able to entertain different realities that are projections of the consequences of different choices available to us.  Our preferences will direct our experience, and as the veil thins, we will remember the fun of “the game.”
